If it illuminates, there could be a problem with the system board. I have tried all the options mentioned above..but none of them worked. I took the cover off, cussed it out and….viola green light comes on and now works fine. If I can't, I'm somehow betting that there won't be any other generic supplys that fit and the Dell replacement with be stupidly expensive. Some of these have already been mentioned above but I hope this prevents the frustration of scrolling the whole thread.
