i beieve it has something to do with cd copy protection. (asssuming that you use pirate copies) Just download an other diablo/lod image and burn new cds... And even worse is that the install shield is always shown on everyone of my 4 desktops. It keeps crashing on me for DirectDraw and Direct3D. I'm actually surprised you haven't been banned yet, D2loader is detectable in 1.11, or so I've read.
