It's been awhile since I looked at it's status vis-a-vis bios versions. to Logitech, the "unifying" receiver I have for my keyboard will not work with my mouse and vice versa. I always did get a little confused with Linux's mount assignments and all that.No floppy available. It took 9 CD's at the time. Error persists. So most likely the same would happen with any other provided media (or own-written media).

To be sure to get good disks. I suspect it is not a medium problem but rather an incompatibility (or bug) with isolinux and your DVD drive. As I'm sure you will guess, the word at the top right was "invalid". I wonder if you can boot the Live CD for CentOS 5.2 and run from that.. I would think newerequipment should have no problem if installation, drive and media aregood.

I'm leaning towards the same issue you mention. At the time the system was put together, there were no DVD ISO images, just CD. Perhaps with my Intel D875PBZ motherboard, there is a Ed Westphal at Aug 2, 2008 at 11:43 pm ⇧ Thanks Larry. Still others claim to solve it by just ejecting the optical drive tray and closing it again.
If not, possibly you canget the Diagnostics from themanufacturer of the drive or if it was installed in your PC when youbought it, from the manufacturerof the PC. I've been Googling the above.
