Because of the technology of floppy diskette drives, it is likely for a floppy diskettes to become bad. http://reboot.pro/topic/12255-need-help-with-virtual-floppy/ If you are getting this error while you are formatting a hard drive or floppy diskette, the hardware has most likely failed and needs to be replaced. Yesterday I tried to save something onto floppy and it didn't work. I'll be learning and testing Qemu, and I'll report the results back.I hope you could find some time to answer the questions I posted.Thank you in advance.

But Winimage is shareware, and I'd rather use freeware tools, specially when I am not going to deal with this situation in an everyday basis, but an "almost one time" basis. By a "set", I mean that I boot the VM with the first one, and then the boot process requests to change the floppy for the next, so to continue with Still, I wanted to get some method to run them under Vista with some virtual floppy, and that's how I got to try ImDisk under Vista. We are looking in some ways I think that 3 months worth of data filled half a disk.... my review here Back to top #11 ady ady Frequent Member Advanced user 128 posts Posted 17 August 2010 - 11:56 AM [quote name='Icecube' post='106861' date='Aug 14 2010, 11:12 PM']AFAI can tell Filedisk is
I expect that a permanent magnet will leave large sections of the diskette magnetised. The above picture illustrates what drive should be connected where. The problem could arise when VFD has to save it to an image file.I'm not sure VFD would save it with the appropriate format, or if it always saves it as I inserted a disk into my floppy drive then went to start > my computer, then right clicked a: and chose format.
