I'm using Windows XP and have tried both WM11 and TVersity as media servers. Hope Sony will rectify this problem in the next patch but in the mean time I will try to see if there's anything I can do in the PS3 settings itself. Media played for 19mins until I manually stopped the playback. I browse our pictres a lot with the PS3, showing friends and family our holiday snaps etc.
Though last night's experiment went well, more tests are still needed. Now, though, my network setup has totally changed: I've added a PC, am using a new router - and I've updated the PS3 firmware. Anyway, because I do utilise alot of P2P, it was mentioned somewhere that I should decrease that value, it was initially scheduled to timeout at every 3600 seconds interval but I Dlna Protocol Error 7531 I'm using a Linksys WRT54GL v1.1.

Anyway, the over the weekend my "test" XviD video played for a good 20-30 mins, with no disconnections. Dlna Protocol Error 2101 I get reasonable signal strength (80%-90%) and NAT2. Ltd. Now a window will open... 3 Click again on "Turn on media streaming". 4 Close the window.

I found out there was certainly a problem with the wireless setup itself, so shifted my modem from downstairs to upstairs (where both the PC and PS3 reside). For me things just get more strange and inconsistant. The PS3 keeps telling me DLNA and network errors are occcuring, most often DLNA error 2104.
My PS3 is now often reporting a DLNA 2104 error. So there are not any usefull information in the log. Cheers. Started to play the XviD video, and immediately got a "disconnected from media server" error.
But I noticed that when I tried to stream music and videos I keep getting this DLNA 2104 error. Media played for 2m54s, then DLNA 2104 error. 2) PS3-wireless & PC-wired. Like I said above, the network infrastructure has never caused an issue before, things have streamed fine. I've just done a bit of testing, and it seems that the really big files are messing up the streaming.
It is proving a little more stable, but disconnections still occur, along with a 80710723 error and a 8003???29 error, also had 80028801 "media not supported".
