Update: This PS3 appears fairly picky about mp3 files, esp when reading files from a MediaServer and the protocol apparently does not recover from a bad file.

The PS3 is probably the best, and reasonably priced, Blu-Ray player on the market. I am not sure how it could be grabbing it from myPlex but as a test, what happens if you un-publish your server, log out of myPlex and restart PMS? I've also read somewhere on the net that having too many codec packs installed can cause problems. I then decided to update to the new "Plex-Media-Server-0.9.717.469-1f0b170-en-US" update. But I suggest you don't waste your time with it.

Photos work somewhat, but are slow. But me being logged in to the PC *should not* affect the performance of the WMP Network Sharing Service IMO. I highly recommend it. Mine is still the same.
At first I thought the problem was resolved when I increased the number of connections and extending the timelimit before dropping out but the problem is back to haunt me.
