The best news is that I was able to recover almost all of my data by plugging in my old HD with a SATA-USB connector. If the HDD is really badly damaged, however, you're best bet is to send it to DriveSavers for a cleanroom disassembly and data recovery. Also, if I was able to do this would I even need DiskWarrior? You can then restore all of your information from your backup. Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post.
